All ages welcome!  Join Chuck Aid for our Second-Saturday Bird Walk for Beginners on November 14, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at  Harriman Lake. This small reservoir just a couple of miles southeast of Bear Creek Lake has a nice variety of habitats and often has a good variety of waterfowl. Its size allows us to generally see birds at a reasonably close distance.  We will invite questions and based on participants’ needs take time to discuss binoculars, spotting scopes, bird field guides, apps, local resources, AND, most importantly, how to begin learning to identify birds.

Bring water and a snack.  Meet at Harriman Lake at 8:30.

American Wigeon (c) Mick Thompson

These walks are for Evergreen Audubon members and their guests. Non-members won’t be turned away but will be encouraged to join Evergreen Audubon.  You must register here to attend this event. If you are registering for more than one person, please enter each person separately.   This event is filled when we have 8 registrants.

I’ll be touch with all registrants prior to our outing.

Thanks!
Chuck Aid, Director of Bird Monitoring
