District Seeks Community Input on Superintendent Characteristics
The Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education has started the process of searching for a superintendent to begin leading our district in July 2021. We would like to further define our superintendent candidate profile. To do so, we need to identify the characteristics, traits, and experiences we seek in our next district leader. The first step is to gather input from our staff, families, and community members. We will offer three options for our community to provide input:
Online Forum
Participate in an online community forum with our consultants assisting with the candidate profile development and search.
For our employees, staff forums will be held soon. Watch coming issues of the TeamJeffco Brief.
Community Sessions
Thursday January 21 at 2pm and 7pm
Community Registration

Online Survey
The Superintendent Search Survey will be available January 13 on the Jeffco Public Schools Superintendent Search webpage.

What's Next
We hope you will participate and share what qualities you value in our next district superintendent. The executive search consultants will collect input, and a leadership profile and synopsis of the data will be shared at an upcoming Board of Education meeting and on our Superintendent Search webpage.
We thank you for taking time to share your thoughts!
