Trail Name: Rainbow Falls Trail – off of HW67 near Woodland Park

Why join us: Time to get out into the wild country of Colorado if you have not been out yet this year. This is an easy to moderate trail that is very popular, especially on Saturdays. Lunch -grilled Brauts & chips provided. Trip limited to first 15 vehicles.
Who: If you have not been with us before you are welcome to join us. We will give you all the coaching and advice you need to be successful. This is a good first time beginners trail.
Trail Rating: 3-4 out of 10. This trail is an easy to moderate trail in the Fun Treks book, it has a difficult Moab Hill that is red and will be fun for all. There is one other short section that can be done as a detour that is also red. Both of these red sections can be bypassed. Please read the references above to understand trail descriptions and risks. At the end of the day you might say something like “I would have never tried that. It was easy with experienced people telling me how to drive”
Trail Highlights: Great views of Pikes Peak mountain, good scenery, lots of opportunities to try something new with your vehicle.
Important Details:
What to Bring: Smile, camera, lunch & drinks, chairs, snacks, adequate water for drinking, sun glasses, sun screen, rain coat, kids. Dogs are welcome. Air compressor if you have one to air up tires. Good mech vehicle.
Start Time and Location: Conifer Safeway parking lot. Arrive early to get acquainted with the others and check in, go to bathroom, buy food etc. We will leave at 9:30 am sharp. Return time and location: Conifer Safeway parking lot around 3 – 5 pm.
