In this class, you will learn to use your Dutch oven while making some wonderful meals. If you’re a new beginner to Dutch oven cooking you will learn, 10 things to know about your new Dutch oven: You should wash it first. Cast iron works on all heat sources. High temps should be avoided. Cast iron holds in heat. Cast iron gets cold too! Oil is important! You can marinate food in it. You should be careful not to scratch it.
Dutch ovens are versatile and perfect for baking, roasting, browning, searing, broiling, and deep-frying. While roasts and stews are great recipes for a Dutch oven, you might be surprised to learn that you can also bake bread in a Dutch oven.This will be a hands-on class, you will learn how to make different meals in a Dutch oven.
