How tough are you? Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) invites runners to compete in the 2021 Evergreen Trail Racing Series, a four-race series of running events on mountainous terrain around scenic Evergreen and our mountain community. Distances range from a 5k to an epic half-marathon to the top of Bergen Peak (elevation 9,708 feet), a climb of well over 2,000 vertical feet.

Registration & Race Days

Race registration is $40 in advance and $50 race day. You can purchase all four races for $120. Races start at 8 AM (pre-registration opens at 7 AM.) Please note there are no race refunds or transfers.

Pick up your race bib on race day. Please bring a reusable water bottle to the races. There will be no water/aid stations on the course; this Series will be cup-free.

Please Note: In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions the race director reserves the right to delay, cancel, move or reschedule the race. There will be no refunds in the event of a race cancellation.

Staunton State Park 20K - August 7

Join us at Staunton State Park for a beautiful 20k trail race. Runners will start at 8,215 feet of elevation and reach an elevation of 9,579 feet at the Eagle Cliff Overlook. Please bring a water bottle. This is a cup free race. Download a race map (PDF).

Evergreen Mountain 15k - September 11

The Evergreen Mountain Trail Race features over nine miles of peaks and valleys. Participants pass the four rock formations called the Three Sisters and Little Brother as they weave their way throughout the course. The ascent up Evergreen Mountain features an elevation gain of over 1,000 feet, with runners ultimately reaching an elevation of 8,400 feet.

After completing the summit loop, runners sprint down Evergreen Mountain to the finish. Runners should meet at the start/finish line at the Alderfer Three Sisters west parking lot. Download a race map (PDF).
