An Interactive Conversation and Q&A with Parents

About this event

Stress and anxiety have impacted all families this past year and many parents wonder how to help their young people cope. With changes to their schools, social lives, families and sense of the future, many kids are struggling with anxiety and uncertainty.

Does your tween/teen show signs of stress or anxiety? Are you curious how to recognize it and help them cope more effectively? Bring your questions and join Ariel for a night of interactive conversation and tools for understanding and helping your child.

Topics will include: How to recognize signs of stress and anxiety in your child; Common types of anxiety; Facing fears vs. avoidance; Strategies for helping your child talk about and manage anxiety; and the role of parents in childhood anxiety.
