Join Evergreen Audubon for a unique nature experience! Slow down and immerse yourself in nature in a new way through the Japanese practice of forest bathing. On your walk, a certified guide will offer you a series of invitations designed to open up your senses and better connect with the natural world. Shinrin-yoku, as it is known in Japan, has been studied for decades and has proven to have numerous health benefits including boosting the immune system, lowering stress levels and improving cognitive function, just to name a few. Reconnect with nature, and yourself, on these slower-paced mindful wanders. The walk concludes with a tea ceremony featuring tea made with local plants and healthy snacks.
