49 years ago today, our Mom committed suicide (she would have been 92 years old if she were still alive today). I was 6 and my sister was 11 years ago (and the one who found her). Mom was in an abusive relationship with our Dad. Perhaps if there was a shelter and 24/7 hotline around back then it could have saved her life.

 

September 21st is the International Day of Peace. I am hosting the third annual Labyrinth walk at PeaceRocks Labyrinth as a benefit for PeaceWorks, Inc. and the critically important work they do.
