Join us Saturday, OCT 30 at 2:00PM for a judged costume contest and exciting prizes! Free (no purchase necessary).

OCT 31: Bag Day, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – a Bag of Books starting at $8.

JCLF’s mission is to support and enrich the capabilities, resources and services of the Jefferson County Public Library through fundraising and advocacy efforts that benefit our diverse community. 

If you gave last year, here is some of what YOU helped us accomplish.  And if you didn’t, here are FIVE great reasons to give!

1. Early Childhood Literacy Programs that help children be reading-ready by Kindergarten. Baby’s First Books and 1000 Books Before Kindergarten help pre-school children and their families get the support they need to help them succeed!
2. Jefferson County Library Challenge Program. In 2020, Jeffco residents completed over a half million Imagine Your Story: Explore  Summer Reading activities!
3. STEMGirls – middle-school girls gain leadership skills as they run STEM-based exploration groups for elementary school students.
4. Belmar Library Expansion – we’ve helped fund the Edgewater Family Place and Standley Lake Library Discover Together: Outdoor Adventure Space installations, and this year we’re helping to support Belmar Library’s remodel and expansion.
5. The semi-annual Whale of a Used Book Sale – these events draws thousands of book lovers for a weekend of fun and book-shopping that raises funds.
