Board of Commissioners to host telephone town hall on Dec. 6

The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is hosting a telephone town hall on Monday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. We will be calling 50,000 randomly selected phone numbers to participate, but you don’t have to wait to see if you are chosen.

During this over-the-phone meeting, commissioners will welcome experts from the county’s Strategy, Innovation and Finance team, including Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Stephanie Corbo; Strategy and Budget Director, Dan Conway; and Housing, Economic and Employment Services Director, Kat Douglas. Budget-related topics that will be discussed include an overview of the county budget, the financial challenges the county is facing, TABOR, the American Rescue Plan Act and more.

Most importantly, the commissioners want to hear from you. You can just listen in or you can ask the commissioners and county staff questions on the topics discussed. There is also a way to register your question before the meeting using our online form.

How to Participate:
• If you are not selected, you are still encouraged to participate by calling 855-695-3486.
• You can also preregister to receive a call by texting JEFFCO to 833-TXT-LIVE (833-898-5483).
