DATE: Saturday May 7th.
TIMES & LOCATIONS:
8:30-11:30am Elk Creek Fire Department. 11993 Blackfoot Road, Conifer
1:30-4:30pm Evergreen Fire Rescue 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen.
CO-HOSTS:
Elk Creek Fire Department, Evergreen Fire Rescue and Rotary Wildfire Ready.
FREE EVENT :
Attendees will be able to talk to wildfire preparedness educators and experts from the fire departments. There will be experts available to answer questions about the Wildfire Prepared Home Assessment Program, Chipping Program, Neighborhood Ambassador program and more.
We’ll have free brochures to hand out to help residents prepare on topics like: Defensible Space, Home Hardening, Go Bag, Emergency Evacuation Checklist, Fire Resistant Landscaping, Important Wildfire Resources and the Ready, Set, Go Manual.
The Rotary Wildfire Ready educational fire truck, Jeffcom911 and other educators will be there too!
