Please join the Park County Historical Society for the first 2022 Park County Historic Sites tour to the National Historic District of the town of Shawnee! The Shawnee Historical Society assisted with PCHS to designate the town of Shawnee a National Historic District in 2009. The town has an assortment of old world architecture, since the town was started in 1900 by James Price, who built the Shawnee Post Office, which has been in service for 122 years! We'll meet at McGraw Park in Bailey at 10:00 on Saturday May 14th. Come prepared for the ever changing Colorado weather, and don't forget your camera and a sack lunch! Come discover more great sites with the Park County Historical Society! All are welcome! Call 303-838-7740 for more information, or if you're interested in joining the PCHS! www.parkcountyhistory.com or https://www.facebook.com/ParkCountyHistorical
