Preschool Nature Nuts: Wildflowers and Pollinators
Date: June 11
Time: 10:00am - 10:30am
Location: Lookout Mountain Nature Center
In this fun program you'll meet two fascinating forest features: wildflowers and their pollinators! Pollinators such as bees and butterflies are essential to helping plants grow. Learn why/how pollinators are important, and then see how many different types of wildflowers and their pollinators you can find at the Nature Center and in your own backyard.
Ages 3 - 5 years with an adult. We ask that your child has reached his/her third birthday before participating in this class.
This is an outdoor program which includes portions with an educator and portions on your own. Dress for the weather (jackets, sweatshirts, hats, sunscreen) and wear comfortable walking shoes.
