Welcome to the 2022 DGPT Match Play Championship presented by Discmania. The DGPT and the Foothill Flyers Disc Golf Club event team are excited to invite spectators to the Bailey Disc Golf Course in Bailey, CO to watch 16 of the top MPO and 16 of the top FPO players in the world compete in a unique match play event at 8,500' above sea level. The 32 players have been invited to this event based on DGPT standings through the OTB Open. The final roster will be available on June 6th.
Please see the ticket options listed to choose the best ticket for you. Children 10 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
The ticket holder must be present to claim their credential. Your spectator pass will be given to you upon your arrival at the event. Once you have a credential, this is your only pass for entry to the event all weekend. No exceptions for lost passes.
Please arrive at the course no earlier than 7:30 AM.
Be on the lookout for an email the week of the tournament with important information specific to this event.
Event Format/Schedule
With pool play, every player is guaranteed 3 matches, one against each other player in their group. One player advances from each pool to the Final 4 on Sunday morning, and the subsequent Final Round Sunday afternoon. No playoffs in pool play. A win is worth 3 points, a tie is worth 1 (like the World Cup!). Tiebreak #1 is hole differential (sum of winning margins), tiebreak #2 is seed.
For spectators, this means an extra 4 matches on Friday and Saturday!
THURSDAY: GK Pro skins and player practice open to spectators. Some vendors will also be on site and we are hoping to have a signing session featuring Discmania players!
FRIDAY: Pool Play (order subject to change)
FPO Match 1 at 8:00. 8:15, 8:30 and 8:45
MPO Match 1 at 12:00, 12:15, 12:30, and 12:45
FPO Match 2 at 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, and 4:45
SATURDAY: Pool Play (order subject to change)
MPO Match 2 at 8:00. 8:15, 8:30 and 8:45

MPO Match 3 at 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, and 4:45
SUNDAY: MPO and FPO Final 4 at 9:00 & 9:30. Championships at 1:00 & 1:30
Vendors on site: We'll have a number of retailers on site selling merchandise and discs including some limited drops. Look out for the DGPT retail tent, Discmania, Soul Crusher, Another Round, Fly Green, Trash Panda, and more! Natural Grocers will be there handing out some samples and we're working on a food truck.
Meta Splice Special Release: On Thursday, we'll be releasing the limited edition Meta Splice. Allocations online and on site are going to go fast! Keep an eye out for more details, we may have a signing session with Discmania players too.
Flymart Saturday Night: Everyone is invited to Snowpack Taproom on Saturday night after the action concludes. Some of the players will be set up selling their tour series discs and signing autographs. Come hang out with the tournament team and support one of our long time partners!
