Why join us: Time to get out into the wild country of Colorado if you have not been out yet this year. This is a moderate trail that is in and out. Most likely will have mud obstacles. Trip limited to first 12 vehicles.
Who: If you have not been with us before you are welcome to join us. We will give you all the coaching and advice you need to be successful. This trail can be done with stock Jeep Rubicon’s, it is not a first timer’s trail. It is very rocky.

Trail Rating: 5 out of 10. This is a drive to a jet crash site, there is aircraft debris all over the crash site. It can get very muddy, and erosion changes the conditions and difficulty of the trail. This is an in and out trail, it is short 1.8 miles in. Please read the references above to understand trail descriptions and risks. At the end of the day you might say something like “I would have never tried that. It was easy with experienced people telling me how to drive”

Important Details:
What to Bring: Smile, camera, lunch & drinks, chairs, snacks, adequate water for drinking, sun glasses, sun screen, rain coat, kids. Dogs are welcome. Air compressor if you have one to air up tires. Good mech vehicle.
Start Time and Location: Arrive between 8:30-9am. Evergreen Walmart parking lot. Arrive early to get acquainted with the others and checked in, go to bathroom, buy food etc. Long 2+ hour drive to the trail head. This is a 3 day weekend so expect lots of traffic. We will leave at 9:00 am sharp. Return time and location: Walmart parking lot around 4 – 5 pm.
