Whether you choose to run or walk, this 5k trail will be sure to have you working hard while you take in the breathtaking, expansive, and historical views. The first mile will take you through the historical town of Silver Plume. Mile two will challenge you physically and mentally as you climb a steep and rocky single-track trail (at over 9,000 feet in elevation), followed by a sharp descent back into town. The run will finish up with another loop around the town, ending at the George Rowe Museum.
Our 1-mile route will take a gentler approach, and will stay in the town of Silver Plume, providing participants the opportunity to soak up the scenery and enjoy all that this unique mountain town has to offer.
NEW! We will be trying out a timing system at this event!
Admission is free, but we are asking for a suggested donation of $10 per adult. The profits from this event will be donated to ‘
People for Silver Plume, Inc.,' a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, responsible for the historic preservation of Silver Plume, CO. After your run/walk, make sure you check out the George Rowe Museum located next to the finish line.
