Start your 4th of July with a unique new event in Georgetown this summer! The Georgetown 4th of July SUP-athlon features 0.5 mile of stand-up-paddle boarding on the inlet at Georgetown Lake, 5 miles of road/trail biking around the Town of Georgetown, and a 5k run around the lake, ending in the historic downtown district. All ability levels are encouraged to sign up, and teams are welcome! A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Clear Creek County Advocates. The Clear Creek County Advocates is a non-profit victim service organization that provides comprehensive support to victims of crime and personal tragedy, and offers community education regarding victimization and crime prevention in Clear Creek County. Participants and spectators are encouraged to stay after the event to check out the annual Georgetown 4th of July parade!
