It’s only a few more days before we return to Karen Quirings to finish our FIFTEENTH SAWS & SLAWS event.

Burland Firewise NEEDS YOUR HELP to DRAG AND STACK SLASH for chipping.

Our purpose is to CREATE  DEFENSIBLE SPACE which will LESSEN THE ADVERSE IMPACTS when a WILDFIRE occurs.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS, BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY.

Come VOLUNTEER an hour or two or spend the day with us. Get to know your neighbors. Every hour counts. LUNCH, SNACKS and DRINKS will be provided

Burland Firewise not only performs mitigation within Burland Ranchettes, we help those communities adjacent to our boundary that are willing to help us.  This year we have completed Saws & Slaws events in the adjacent communities of Rowland Valley and Trails West.
