The Genesee Fire Protection District (GFPD) Board of Directors oversees Genesee Fire Rescue, and the Pension Board oversees the volunteer pension account.
Genesee Fire Protection District Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of five members elected by the residents of the GFPD. Board members serve four-year terms and are limited to two consecutive terms. The GFPD Board of Directors meets the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Genesee Fire Station.

Genesee Fire Rescue Pension Board
The Genesee Fire Rescue Pension Board consists of the GFPD Board of Directors and two active duty firefighters. The Pension Board is responsible for the oversight and distribution of pension funds. The Pension Board meets the third Wednesday of February, May, August, and November following the GFPD Board Meeting.
