The Evergreen Town Race is a fundraiser for the Alpine Rescue Team.  Both the 5K and 10K courses wind gradually down Upper Bear Creek, with a finish near Evergreen Lake. This course treats participants to one of the most scenic and fastest races in Colorado. In fact, this may be one of the best races you have ever run! The fastest 5K ever run in Colorado was run on this course - 14:07 by Jason Hubbard in 1998.

This is a point to point route. The 5k starts at the halfway point on the 10k course. Both distances have the same finish line.

RACE SCHEDULE
6:30 a.m. - Registration Opens
6:30 a.m. - Buses Start for 5k
6:55 a.m. – Buses Start for 10k
8:00 a.m. - 5K Event Begins
8:45 a.m. - 10K Event Begins

Free bus transportation to the start line will be provided. The buses for the 5K will leave from Evergreen High School. The buses for the 10K will leave from the Xcel Energy frontage road. You must display your race number to get on a bus. No one without an official number will be allowed on the buses. Upper Bear Creek Road will be closed to all traffic and there will be no parking available at the start locations. The buses will transport runners from 6:30am-7:30am for the 5k and from approximately 6:55am-8:00am for the 10k.  If you miss the bus, you miss the race!
