May 6th is Wildfire Community Preparedness Day.  

Wildfire Community Preparedness Day is a national campaign that encourages people everywhere to come together on a single day to take action to raise awareness and reduce wildfire risks.

This May 6th, connect with your Elk Creek/Inter-Canyon FPD Community Ambassador.  Community Ambassadors serve as volunteer liaisons between the FPD and residents, increasing awareness of wildfire risk and forest health issues in our area.
