4th of July Festival

Lions Park, Golden

Bring a picnic and join the Golden Lions Club for the annual 4th of July community celebration in Lions Park on 10th Street. Activities include music provided by three bands starting at 11:30am. The celebration is designed to be a day for families, friends and neighbors to get together at the beautiful park on 10th Street to picnic or purchase food and drinks and enjoy all the festivities. 

Golden's new Ore Cart Transit Service will be running on the 4^th of July during this celebration and the Colorado School of Mines stadium will be available for event parking. 

The City of Golden puts on a 4th of July fireworks display, which begins around 9:30 p.m., weather and fire conditions permitting.  For the best viewing, join the fun at Lions Park, or stake out a spot in the ballfields along 10th Street, between Illinois and Maple Streets.  Updates will be posted to the City’s social media channels.
