The annual Lake George Gem & Mineral show is this weekend August 18-20th. Profits made by the club at the show are used to grant Scholarships to students of Park and Teller Counties going into Earth Science programs at college level. Extra funds are also used to support geology students doing work at the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.
