About Shannon
My career as a Physician Assistant, balancing a demanding job with raising two young children, took a toll on my health. I found myself in a cycle of stress, exhaustion, and unhealthy eating, which led to significant weight gain and IBS symptoms. Despite being an athlete, my attempts at managing my weight through running were unsuccessful, and my overall well-being deteriorated.

A career shift, which required me to be on call at all hours, further impacted my health, leading to memory issues, concentration difficulties, and depression. This was a wake-up call for me. I realized the need for a drastic change in my lifestyle.

By revamping our family's eating habits, eliminating junk food, and addressing my IBS, we not only improved my health but also resolved other family health issues like asthma and heartburn. My newfound love for mountain biking, along with becoming a certified high school mountain bike coach and a racer, marked a significant turn in my life.

This personal transformation was the catalyst for me to become a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I am now committed to sharing my experience and strategies with other women, helping them to successfully manage their IBS and achieve their weight loss goals.
