The Sustainable Neighborhoods of Applewood, Eiber and Morse Park are teaming together with the support of 3R Technology Solutions to bring another recycling event to the hood.
 
You will be able to recycle most electronic items which plug in or run on batteries and all sizes of metal from bent nails to refrigerators to swing sets.
 
The event is FREE except for a $30 fee per TV or tube monitor, regardless of size. Cash or credit card will be accepted.
 
In addition, your neighbor volunteers who are organizing this event greatly appreciate any cash donations you would like to make. Your generous contribution helps support sustainable neighborhood projects & activities such as this event.
 
This event is open to ANYONE on the planet wanting to recycle.
 
Examples of Accepted Items:
Batteries, Computers/laptops**, Cameras, CD players, Cell Phones, Desktop phones/systems, Copiers, Monitors (flat screens free), TVs/Projection TVs, DVDs, VCRs & DVRs, Fax machines, Hard drives, Hubs, MP3 players, Keyboards, Mice, Modems, Network switches, Optical drives, Printers, Remote control routers, Servers, Software, Surge protectors, Toner, Adding machines, Typewriters, Power/charging/cable cords, Gaming consoles/software, Stereos/speakers, Two-way radios, Christmas tree lights, Small appliances, Bikes, Restaurant appliances, Washer/dryers, Kitchen appliances, Refrigerators, Stoves, Dishwashers, BBQ’s, Fence stakes, Metal furniture.
 
NOT ACCEPTING: thermostats, smoke/co2 detectors, light bulbs
 
**As a state of Colorado certified and registered material recycling facility, 3R Technology Solutions abides by all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. For your peace of mind, you might want to erase your hard drive first. According to Costco Connection from April, 2020, “use free software such as Eraser and CBL Data Shredder to properly erase your hard drive. A “factory reset” or “restore” should be fine for cell phones and tablets.”
