Description: Hike up Star View Trail to enjoy an open house and moon viewing at the Pine Valley Observatory. 

Park in upper parking lot. Come prepared for a short hike (.6 miles total; steep, uneven terrain). Wear layers. Bring a flashlight or headlamp and water. The historic telescope is not wheelchair accessible. Please leave pets at home. 

Additional Information: This is an open house format program; there is the potential for long lines for viewing. First quarter moon viewing through August. Access to the park after hours is for the observatory program only. Visitors are not permitted to visit the lake, shelters, or the rest of the trail system.

Age 10 and up.
