The Buena Vista Contin-Tail Gem, Mineral, & Fossil Show is back, and better than ever! This FREE event, held in the breathtaking valley of Buena Vista, Colorado, is your chance to dive into a world of geological wonders.

The Buena Vista Contin-Tail Rock, Gem, and Mineral Show has been running annually for over 40 years! Each year over 100 gem, mineral, fossil, handmade jewelry, lapidary artists, and rock dealers gather together near the Continental Divide in Buena Vista Colorado to share their wares with the public.

The show always has free parking. free admission, and promises a fun time for the whole family! We hold the show annually on the 2nd week of August in a beautiful valley with a 360-degree view. As it is Colorado's largest outdoor mineral show, you are sure to find something special from one of the many dealers from around the Country and even the world!

Fun Fact: People always ask where the name Contin-Tail comes from. It is a fusion of the words Continental Divide & Tailgate.
