The ninth Conifer Christmas will be at the StageDoor Theatre Saturday, December 21. There will be two shows, a matinee at 2:00 and a later show at 6:00. Rex Rideout will be joined by his friends, multi-instrumentalist Norman Hughes and zen percussionist Dennis Swiftdeer Paige. As always there will be stories of Christmas celebrated in the old West and songs ranging from the 19th century back to Elizabethan times. And we like to throw in some surprises as well. This is an all volunteer show. 100 percent of ticket proceeds benefit three local nonprofit organizations: Mountain Resource Center, Conifer Historical Society, and StageDoor Theatre. There will also be a non-perishable food drive for the Mountain Resource Center. This will be going on at the StageDoor for all shows and events through the month of December.
Please note, after eight years we will be in a new location. We will be at the StageDoor Theatre in the Aspen Park Village Shopping Center just West of King Soopers.
