Free Avalanche Education Workshop at Alma Town Hall on January 4th from 9:30-1:00am followed by field practice at Hoosier Pass from 11:00am-1:30pm.

Join MRHI for this rare opportunity to practice using tools and techniques of avalanche safety with experts in the backcountry from Park County Search and Rescue. While this workshop is free, all donations received at this event will be given to PCSAR in appreciation for their volunteer efforts.

Required equipment: snowshoes, cross country, AT, tele skis, or splitboard

If you have them, please bring a transceiver, shovel, and probe.
