On Saturday August 2nd, at our accessible event, we will be hosting a Flying Drones Workshop. This part of our event will last from 12pm-2pm. It is open to all guests and community members. Come join us and participate in an engaging workshop on drone technology, followed by a hands-on flying session with certified representatives from Halkin Inc. (a drone software, operations and training company). Participants will also enjoy a complimentary lunch!
During this workshop, you will:
• Explore various types of drones and their applications
• Learn the basic principles of flight and aerodynamics
• Practice pre-flight and post-flight procedures with a focus on safety and precision
• Engage in hands-on, manual flight control training with commercial drones.
Participants will fly drones over the Wilderness on Wheels property , experiencing firsthand the skills and techniques covered in the session. Doesn’t that sound amazing? We hope to see you there!!
