Free tours of the Jeffco Election Center are open to the public in the weeks leading up to each election! Tours last about an hour and you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at ballot transport, processing, signature verification, and vote counting, plus insight into election security and accessibility.

All election center tours begin in the lobby of the election center in the Laramie Building on the Jefferson County campus, at 3500 Illinois Street, Golden, CO 80401. Please enter suite 1100 and sign in at the desk. Tours last about an hour but can run longer if there are a lot of questions.

For the security of our staff and election judges, we require attendees to sign in; we do not allow photography, videos, or recording of any kind; and we limit the size of tour groups. Some spaces may not be open or may not be in-use during a tour depending on the day and time. Live ballot processing for the 2025 election begins Monday, October 13.
