Mitigation work along the roadside of Highway 73 continues in order to make a main evacuation route more safe. We have a contractor this time so we need flaggers to slow down traffic and stop if a tree is about to fall (hopefully not in the road, but we're careful) or if there are people or vehicles in the road.
