A little Christmas History...... The first Christmas tree lights were created in 1882 by Edward H. Johnson, a partner of Thomas Edison. Johnson hand wired 80 red, white, and blue lights around a Christmas tree in his home. This was to create a safer and more festive alternative to candles.
