Join CAIC Avalanche Forecaster Andrew McWilliams for an afternoon focused on avalanche awareness and staying safe in avalanche terrain. Andrew will explore local snowpack considerations, key travel techniques, and how to use CAIC’s forecasts to make informed decisions in the backcountry.

Meet special guests Obie and Gravy, avalanche search-and-rescue dogs with the Winter Park Ski Patrol, along with their handlers. Hosted in partnership with the Grand County Library District.
