Wildfire Resiliency Code Community Meeting - Hybrid

The County will be updating its defensible space and structure hardening standards to meet State requirements from the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code. Current defensible space standards are in Zoning Resolution Section 39 and structure hardening standards are in Building Code Appendix Z. To meet State requirements, the County will also need to update its Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Overlay Map.

In this meeting, we will go over the content of the proposed draft and attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about the proposed changes. Meetings will be recorded and posted on the Planning & Zoning Regulation Updates web page.
