Inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike, Newsies JR. follows Jack Kelly and a group of determined young newsboys who take a stand against powerful newspaper publishers after prices are raised at their expense. What begins as a fight for fair treatment quickly grows into a movement that captures the attention of New York City—and beyond.

Packed with high-energy choreography and unforgettable songs like “Seize the Day,” “Carrying the Banner,” and “Santa Fe,” this dynamic production showcases the passion, teamwork, and resilience of our performers (grades 5–8). Our Company cast has been working tirelessly to bring this story to life, delivering a show filled with heart, grit, and show-stopping moments.
