Howdy neighbors!

Spring is springing in the 'Dale and soon enough it's going to be Farmstand Season! I wanted to post info and dates before the first weekend so anyone wanting to participate has a bit of time to prepare

When and where is it?
The Farmstand happens at 2175 S Grapevine Road, right in my driveway! For 2026, we're aiming for the first weekend of every month, April through September. I generally open up at 7am and shut down around 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Mark down the dates:
-April 4+5
-May 2+3
-June 6+7
-July 4+5
-August 1+2
-September 5+6

What's the Farmstand?
The Farmstand is a seasonal, monthly community event to offer a space in Idledale for folks to get together and meet the neighborhood through a tiny shared marketplace. My very smol business, Rambler Coffee Co, is set up to serve fresh coffee and pastries. Alongside the coffee cart is a selection of goods provided by neighbors in our community right here in Idledale that you can buy, supporting hyper-local makers and growers! We have locally raised pork, eggs, florals, art, jams, and treats-- to name a few. It's like a tiny little no fuss farmer's market for our community, and a true revelation of the talent and resourcefulness right here in Idledale.

How does it work?
--I invite anyone in Idledale to bring home-crafted goods to share and sell. If you grow, bake, paint, harvest, create, make..... come share it with us! It's a very casual environment to test the waters on a side hustle you may have, taste test cottage baking you're trying out, or to simply show off your hidden skills to the neighborhood.
--I provide shelving, a fridge, a deep freezer, baskets, and bins as needed (or bring your own!). I also store items overnight and even in between Farmstand weekends so you don't have to pick up and drop off repeatedly during the season if you don't want to.
--Simply bring your items to my place (this can be one of the evenings ahead of time, or on the day-of!) and include a way for people to pay you. The easiest thing so far has been printed out Venmo QR codes (or at least usernames). I also handle safely collecting and dispersing cash payments for folks who prefer that. There is no fee or cut that I take out-- it's all you!
--People walk up, buy your things, and pay you directly without you needing to hang around. It's as simple as that.

Anything else to know?
My motivation with this has been to create community space here in Idledale. Community building feels especially important in this age and it's been so fun to have people hang out and walk around town together on Farmstand days as well as to get to know my fantastic neighbors! Feel free to walk up, bring a camp chair to hang out, and just make a morning of it. If you do drive I ask that you don't come all the way up the driveway unless you need direct access or are unable to walk, as there are kids and dogs usually running around. Be conscientious of where you park so as not to block our shared drive.

Can't wait to see you guys!
--Ally, Jeremiah, and the Itty Bitty Pitty Committee
