Join us at EPRD for an amazing day learning to fly fish with Kay DuShane!

 

In this FULL DAY course, expect to learn about the equipment needed, knots necessary to attach leaders and flies, entomology of the riparian environment (the insects that live around our rivers and which ones the trout love to eat!), how to correctly read the water to find trout and finally, how to correctly cast a fly rod to the trout you have found!

 

This course is a FULL DAY course that starts in the classroom and then moves to the Buchanan Ponds after lunch.

 

Lunch and light refreshments will be provided for this course. That way you don't need to worry about bringing anything with you except a passion to learn and a refillable water bottle!

 

Please wear suitable clothing for the outdoor portion of the class. Fish eat in the rain - unless there are unsafe conditions, the outdoor portion of this class will run, rain or shine!
