Evergreen Fire/Rescue’s Wildland Division will host a Contractor’s Workshop for area tree and landscape contractors. Attendees will gain valuable insight on creating defensible space following guidelines published through the Colorado State Forest Service and updates on the Mountain Pine Beetle. The workshop will help EFR to generate a list for homeowners to reference. While not endorsing any one contractor, this list will represent companies that attend the workshop and learn the defensible space recommendations EFR Mitigation Specialists provide when doing EFR's free Home Assessments. Contractors who did not complete the workshop in 2025 must attend to be included on the updated list. Contractors who are currently on the list are encouraged to attend to receive valuable updates.
