Jon, 81, has called Pine home since the late ’70s, and we’re coming together to help him stay there. We’ve worked with the county to stop fines, and now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and clean up the exterior.

May 23: 10:00am-3:00pm

May 24: 9:00am-2:00pm

 

Here’s what we’re tackling:
• Taking down 3 damaged greenhouse/shelters
• Hauling away 1 trailer
• Removing 1 large tree (experienced chainsaw help needed here!)
• Clearing out lots of debris into dumpsters

 

This is just Part 1 of a much bigger project. We got a new roof installed on 5/12, a new stove/heater is on the way, then we will tackle interior clean-out, deck repairs, and a special surprise project for Jon.

All ages are welcome—bring your energy! We also need help with food and drinks for volunteers. Don’t forget gloves and sunscreen.
