Lookout Mountain Nature Center Public Programs

Beginning stargazers are invited to join astronomy team members for an introduction to the night sky. Learn about stars, planets, night sky navigation and more. Weather permitting, view through historic and modern telescopes.

Ages 10-adult.

There is a moderate 1/3 mile hike to the observatory.

1. programs are designed for individuals & families. If you are part of a group organization, (scout troop, meet-up, etc.) we ask that each family registers seperately. If you would like to register 6 or more people please contact, 720-497-7600, for more information.

 Registration for this program is available one month before the date of the program.  If you are registering during this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.
