Join the Park County Historical Society on Saturday November 9th at the Shepherd of the Rockies Lutheran Church for dinner and a presentation by Rex Rideout. Rex is a historian, musician and vocalist of the American West. He will speak about the 1806 expedition of Lieutenant Zebulon Montgomery Pike along with accompanying vocal and instrumental renditions from that era. Zebulon Pike's journey took him into Park County and up to where Fairplay is now today. There is a bill in Congress to designate Zebulon's journey as the Pike National Historic Trail.
Dinner starts at 5:00. The presentation starts at 5:30. Cost is $7.00 for the event.
