PLAN Jeffco is hosting a conference, “The Next 40 Years of Open Space Conservation” on Saturday morning, November the 16th, at the Jeffco Fairgrounds, the Main Exhibition Hall, from 9AM to 1PM.
Admission is $10; registration for the event:
Conference-goers are encouraged to arrive early (8:30-ish) for sign-in and breakfast. Mid-morning snacks will be provided at the 11AM break.

PLAN Jeffco is a citizen organization based in Jefferson County, Colorado. For over 40 years, PLAN Jeffco has advocated conservation of key lands as open space. PLAN Jeffco authored the "Open Space Resolution" ballot initiative in 1972 that provided a ½ percent sales tax in Jefferson County to establish the award winning Jefferson County Open Space program.
As the Open Space program has grown in size & significance, PLAN Jeffco continues to provide citizen oversight and impetus for new program directions—citizens & government interacting to achieve a goal of conserving Open Space Lands. We also provide an important citizen education function, keeping you informed of what is going on in your Open Space Program.
