We are pleased to announce the beginning of Satsang circles every first Sunday of the month at Taspen's! We hope you will join us for a morning of community, chanting and devotion. You are invited to gather with us for a beautifully profound practice. Come experience uniting with your sangha through music, breathwork, silence and stillness. Gathering in this way creates a sacred space that connects you deep within the heart and is transformative and peaceful. Please bring your own mat and cushion to the circle. You are also welcome to bring any drums or instruments. Come and enjoy the healing power of mantra, meditation and satsang. In sanskrit 'Sat' means 'truth' and Sangha is 'community'.

The satsang meditation will last for one hour beginning at 10:30. We will open with a short pranayama practice followed by a silent sitting meditation with call and response or sing along chanting breaks throughout. We will experience the beautiful vast potentiality of silence between sounds together in a peaceful and aware state. Next we shall enjoy a short dharma talk and reading. The meditation circle will conclude with a japa practice of 108 repetitions of a select mantra.

At 11:30 we will have a philosophical discussion and reading. After we end our practice a vegan soup and tea will be served. Enjoy this delicious and healthy ramen, tea and rice pudding. The cost of the morning is by Love offering. There is a suggested donation of $20. Due to our serving food preregistration is required. Please call ahead on the Friday before to ensure that we received enough registrants to hold circle. Please call to register and confirm (303) 816-0429 Taspen's Organics & Holistic Wellness Center

Deva Premal says "Let's create Satsang Circles around the planet! Creating a sacred sace where you and your friends can sit silently together is a profound practice. It transcends social boundaries because there is no need for polite conversation. It is a time to 'be with ourselves' = to give ourselves that extra time that we so easily overlook. Satsang is a great support on our spiritual paths. We come together, in our aloneness, and it brings us closer as friends, because we find ourselves in a sacred space together, without judgement, where all is One."
