Join the Park County Historical Society on Saturday, July 13th, for another adventure to the historic Buckskin Joe Gulch/Alma area! See the site of the original Park County seat! We will cover the mining district up Buckskin Joe Gulch, and discover where Park County was originated in 1861. We will view some of the other sites of interest in the area, to show how the mining industry originated in Park County.

Meet at McGraw Park in Bailey at 9:00. We will then meet at the Alma Community Center, to meet up with anyone in the Fairplay/South Park area at 10:00. Bring a sack lunch along. The road is accessible by car, but it is rough. Call Pat Mauro for questions-303-838-7740.
