In honor of our membership in the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), the Colorado Railroad Museum offers free admission on specified days throughout the year.

Optional Galloping Goose Rides are available for purchase on SCFD dates: Adults $4, Children $2 and Members receive a $1 discount.

Since 1989, SCFD has distributed funds from a sales and use tax to cultural facilities throughout the seven-county Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. The funds support cultural facilities whose primary purpose is to enlighten and entertain the public through the production, presentation, exhibition, advancement and preservation of art, music, theatre, dance, zoology, botany, natural history and cultural history.

So celebrate the generous support of SCFD at the Museum as we lose track of time with free admission on SCFD Saturdays.

Boulder residents receive free admission and train rides on:

Friday June 20, 2014
Friday August 15, 2014

Other guests:
Museum Members and Children under 2 are free, Children $5, Adults $10, Seniors $8 and Families $20.

Optional train rides $4 adults, $2 for kids. Museum Members receive free admission and $1 discount per train ride ticket.
