Come help continue the multi-year effort to improve trails and restore stream habitat at beautiful O'Fallon Park, near Evergreen.
The O'Fallon, Corwina, and Pence Parks are among the most popular and heavily used of the Denver Mountain Park system, established in the early 1900s.
One of the O'Fallon Park trails travels straight down a hill and is eroding and unsustainable.
On this day, volunteers will enjoy great scenery as they continue work on the 1700 ft long re-route of this trail, begun on National Trails Day. The project includes basic trail construction and rock work, so it is suitable for beginners and experienced trail volunteers alike.
Part one of this project is on June 7, 2014. Please consider reigistering for that National Trails Day project as well!
