Boogie at the Barn is back!  

The first Boogie at the Barn for 2014 is a Sadie Hawkins Dance at Alderfer/Three Sisters Barn on Friday, May 6, from 5:30-11 PM! Ladies, grab a partner and kick up your heels to the hard-driving blues of the Joe Bye Band!

Rough Mix opens at 5:30 pm, followed by Joe Bye at 7:30 pm. Joe Bye's infectious style of high energy acoustic rock has made him a local favorite with a diverse fan base. Every show is different depending on which friends Joe brings along. (http://www.joebye.com/)

Tickets are $8 in advance at Buchanan Park and Wulf Rec Centers., Chow Down, Intero, and at Java Groove and Everbean Coffee Shops, and $10 at the door. Advance tickets are strongly recommended as tickets will be limited due to the barn's capacity. Cash or check only.

Food from Bistro Colorado and Texorado, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Proceeds will go to Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) for Alderfer Barn and Ranch renovations and improvements.

The "Boogie at the Barn" dance parties were conceived by John Erlandson, local musician and concert producer, in 2012 as a way to bring life back to the old barn. This successful partnership with EPRD has involved the community in bringing about a limited restoration of the historic facility. Erlandson and Pandora Reagan are caretakers of the Alderfer Ranch House and are excited to continue this partnership to bring the 2014 barn dances to the community.
