Why So Blue?

Friday, August 29, 2014 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (MDT)

Pine Valley Ranch Open Space Park
30400 Crystal Lake Road
Pine, CO 80470

From the hottest stars in the universe to our coldest planet (Neptune), the color blue is everywhere.  Join us for a night of the blues.

Ages 6 years to adult.

There is a 1/3 mile moderate to strenuous unpaved trail up to the observatory. If you are unable to walk this distance, we do not recommend this program due to the nature of the hike. The observatory is not ADA accessible. If you have questions please contact us at 720-497-7600.

This is a late night outdoor program. Dress warmly and in layers, it will be cold and the observatory is not heated. There are no restrooms located at the observatory.

Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program.  If you are registering after this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.
