Elk Creek Fire Department to receive Snuggle Quilts from Firehouse Quilts of Colorado
Conifer, CO, September 16, 2014 — Firehouse Quilts of Colorado will present Elk Creek Fire Department with Snuggle Quilts to be carried on all their ambulances. A presentation ceremony will be held September 29, 2014, 11:30am, at Elk Creek Station 1, 11993 Blackfoot Road, Conifer, CO.
Firehouse Quilts of Colorado is a non-profit, volunteer organization that hand makes the 45-inch square Snuggle quilts. "Space aboard an emergency vehicle is precious, and while these quilts aren't medically necessary, they may help make the worst day in a child's life just a little better," said Deputy Chief Jacob Ware.
Elk Creek Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services within the communities of Aspen Park, Conifer, Pine Junction and parts of Pine, Evergreen, and Bailey, Colorado.
